Back in March 2009 Federal State School urgently required to have some trees lopped for the School due to safety concerns and also concerns with two Camphor Laurel trees in the front near administration building and a classroom. The Camphor Laurel trees were of great concern as we saw evidence of them slowly dying. I contacted D & K Sunshine Tree Services as we have used them in 2008 to see if they could assist us.

Dave Stuart the owner of D & K Sunshine Tree Services spoke to me and made arrangements to visit the school to advise myself and the Principal in regard to the state of the Camphor Laurel trees and also trimming many other trees throughout the school grounds. Dave was very efficient and attended to our needs promptly. He first came out to the school and met with myself and the Principal and discussed about the trees at the school. We were very pleased with the professionalism of D & K Sunshine Tree Services and their advice they gave to the school. After sighting the quote, their Public Liability Insurance documents, and all the other literature they sent out in regard to Camphor Laurels, at Federal State School we decided to book D & K Sunshine Tree Services for the big job.

Federal State School then organised a date for Dave and his team to visit the school and carry out the large job. Dave and his team arrived on April 1 2009 to trim and lop the trees for the school and Dave and his team were very efficient and followed all the safety procedures whilst at the school to ensure there was no harm to the students on the day.

We were very pleased with D & K Sunshine Tree Services and would recommend them to any other school in the area. They were at our school for the entire day and also cleaned up the areas that they were working in thoroughly.
